Christmas day

It is afternoon on Christmas Day and the house is quiet. Lisa's parents left about 11:00 am. We've had a lot of company the last couple of weeks. No more visitors until the baby is due.

Lisa and Henry are both napping. We've had a fun day. We opened presents this morning about 7:30 and then had breakfast (egg nog french toast and chicken sausage). Henry seems to be enjoying his gifts. He moves from one thing to another but keeps coming back to everything. He is really enjoying the Vsmile video game system. Although this is an educational system I can already see we will need to limit his use. I hope this does not open the door to Gameboys, X-Boxes, etc. too soon.

I received a nice pair of leather gloves and some cologne. Lisa was happy with the ring I bought for her.

I ventured out once to the drug store for batteries. The cashier made a comment about the number of dads who have been in buying batteries. We're probably in for the rest of the day.
