The advice in this article from MIT Sloan aligns well with our work in strategy. The authors offer five tips for managing complex collaborations. Tips are helpful; but our work is based on the premise that designing and guiding collaborations to do complex work requires a deep set of skills. In our workshops we introduce these skill sets and help participants begin to practice them. Like any new discipline, from golfing to learning a second language, mastery takes time.
