Trees and traditions

We got our Christmas tree today. Our tradition is to visit Dull's Christmas Tree Farm to cut down our own. Lisa and I have done this for nine years now. I don't think Henry knows you can get Christmas trees anywhere else. Like all families we have Christmas traditions. Since Lisa and I had 13 childless holidays together we had a few traditions established. With Henry we've developed more. Here are a few of our holiday traditions:

Dull's Tree Farm
A visit to "Mall Santa"
Christmas at the Indianapolis Zoo
A shopping trip to Chicago (Marshall Fields' windows)
Lots of Christmas movies - all the classics
Opening one present Christmas Eve
A big Christmas morning breakfast

I love our traditions. They seem to bring such a rhythm to life.
